How to track a campaign via DCM (DoubleClick Campaign Manager)?
DoubleClick Campaign Manager (or DCM) is a multi-channel campaign management platform owned by Google .
To facilitate the trafficking of campaigns managed via DCM, Eulerian offers a unique tracking format that contains dynamic macros .
Google requires that the tracking domain used within its platform be whitelisted in order to be able to broadcast.
This impacts the format of Eulerian Client impression tracking URLs .
Eulerian offers its Customers the possibility of using a dedicated tracking domain whitelisted with Amazon: ew3.io for Europe And ca.ew3.io for Canada and the US.
Use of this domain is required to track impressions from programmatic campaigns
What tracking format to use on DCM?
Campaigns tracked with the url format shown below will be categorized as campaigns belonging to the "Display" marketing channel within Eulerian reports.
We recommend using this format for display, online video, programmatic and over-the-counter campaigns.
Important: Remember to replace $SITE-NAME with the name of your Eulerian property. The name of your Eulerian property is available at the top left of the platform.

Once the tracking links are integrated into DCM, you can move on to configuring theEulerian Partner Connect (EPC) connector for DCM .
This connector allows you to configure a daily automatic synchronization from DCM to Eulerian in order to retrieve in the Eulerian interface the names of your campaigns and the locations defined on DCM.
Synchronization also allows you to retrieve impression, click and cost data (optional) to feed metrics such as external impressions, external clicks and budget, as well as profitability metrics (CAC, ROAS)
Internal click metrics will not be impacted or removed by the data import.
Important: The connector will not work if tracking URLs are provided in a shortened format. Please use full URLs.
If your agency manages your META campaigns through DCM, here is a specific DCM tracking format to ensure these META campaigns are categorized under the SOCIAL marketing channel instead of DISPLAY:

Synchronization settings
Name: This field is pre-filled and is always: site - Google DCM - Reporting: CREATION DATE .
Do not synchronize budget : by checking this option, only the structure of your campaigns will be uploaded.
oAuth Authentication
If you have already completed this step, in the oAuth authentication line, select your Google Adwords account from the drop-down list.
Otherwise, click add . You must authorize Eulerian via this oAuth authentication to read your DCM account information.
Fill in the application name in Provide a name for this authentication(Free entry) then click on generate partner authentication URL → Click to open a new window .
The Google login page now opens and prompts you to enter your logins and passwords to complete the authentication procedure.

Once your credentials are entered, a new connection is available in the oAuth authentication field on the interface.
All connection information is automatically retrieved by our application, all you have to do is validate the addition of your connector.
Click on download the list of authorized profiles to display the list of your different advertiser accounts.
