How do I sync my Pinterest Ads spend with Eulerian?

This documentation guides you through setting up a connector that will automatically sync your Pinterest Ads campaign spend with the Eulerian marketing platform.
The goal is to enable the analysis of the performance of marketing campaigns via key indicators such as expenditure, ROI and ROAS.

Prerequisites

Before you begin setup, make sure you have the following:
  • A Eulerian user account with “Administrator/Webmaster” rights.
  • A Pinterest Ads user account with minimum “Standard” rights.
  • All Pinterest Ads campaigns must be previously tracked with the dedicated Eulerian tracking template


Setting up the Pinterest Ads Spend Connector in your Eulerian platform


Path: Collection → Media Collection → Budget Connector → Pinterest Media

After clicking on the Pinterest Media Connector, the connector configuration window opens.


Parameters to be filled in


  • Name : Enter the name of your connector (free entry)
  • Do not sync budget: optional
  • Ad Account ID: identifier of your advertising account on Pinterest Ads

Please do not fill in the fields "Publisher", "Campaign", "Location", "Creative" without specific recommendation from your Customer Success Manager.

The Pinterest Ads API requires the use of a user account for the Eulerian platform to be authorized to synchronize data from your Pinterest Business Manager.

Click on “Add Authentication”.
Then click on “Generate Partner Authentication URL” and “Log In” .

The Pinterest login page opens and prompts you to enter your username and password to complete the authentication process.


Click on “Confirm” to finalize the creation of the connector!



How the Connector Works

  • The connector performs an automatic daily synchronization between 1am and 6am to retrieve the previous day's data.
  • Synchronization is retroactive, allowing historical data to be recovered if necessary.
