How to upload an offline media plan (TV, Radio)?

The offline media plan upload allows you to declare in bulk all the time slots associated with an offline campaign, thus avoiding having to create them manually.

Automatic trafficking of the constituent elements of your campaign is not done without prior verification by the system of the validity of the information injected.

The uploaded file must comply with all the rules set out below in substance and form.

File structure

The file must have exactly 7 columns in the order shown on the interface.

  • Your file can contain empty columns as long as the total number is as expected. In the case of offline campaign upload, the first 4 columns are mandatory and the last 3 are optional.
  • The order of the columns must be exactly as expected when you click the button upload a technical media plan for auto trafficking
  • Finally, the format of the dates corresponding to the Start Date and End Date columns must conform to the following example: DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM → 02/15/2014 09:27

Be careful not to add or leave invisible columns by mistake, which could invalidate the structure of the file.

If your file is not recognized by our system, this will result in an empty box on the next screen.

In this case, check the syntax elements carefully:

The separator. This can be changed by your spreadsheet when saving. Note that Office Excel and LibreOffice Calc use different default separators.
The text separator. Also check before uploading the file using a text editor.
The end-of-line character. As with the separator, this can vary from one operating system to another. To check, examine your file with a text editor or simply try both possibilities.

File Contents

The file must also meet certain trafficking rules to be processed by the system.

No time slot should overlap another.

2 independent time slots must not share a common period.

This principle also applies between 2 different offline campaigns.

If the slot you want to add conflicts with an existing slot on another campaign, the file will be rejected.

Note that when uploading to our interface, all errors of this type are displayed in red as in the following example:

No time slot can exceed 13h.

This is the maximum duration for a given slot.
