How do I sync my Meta Ads spend with Eulerian?

This documentation guides you through setting up a connector that will automatically sync your Meta Ads campaign spend with the Eulerian Marketing Platform.
The goal is to enable the analysis of the performance of marketing campaigns via key indicators such as expenditure, ROI and ROAS.

Prerequisites

Before you begin setup, make sure you have the following:
  • A Eulerian user account with “Administrator/Webmaster” rights.
  • A Meta Ads user account with “Standard” rights.
  • All Meta Ads campaigns must be previously tracked with the dedicated Eulerian tracking template

Configuring the Meta Ads Spending Connector in your Eulerian platform


Path: Collection → Media Collection → Budget Connector → Facebook - Ads

After clicking on the Facebook - Ads Connector, the connector configuration window opens.


Parameters to be filled in


  • Name : Enter the name of your connector (free entry)
  • Filter by campaign name (optional): If you don't want to sync 100% of the campaigns in your Meta ad account, you can use this field to set a filter based on the campaign name, with a "contains" or "does not contain" condition. Only campaigns that match this rule will be synced to Eulerian

The Meta Ads API requires the use of a user account for the Eulerian platform to be authorized to synchronize data from your Business Manager Meta.

Click on “Add authentication” :

Then on “Generate Partner Authentication URL” and “Log In” :

The Meta login page opens and prompts you to enter your Business Manager username and password to complete the authentication procedure.

Business Manager and Advertiser Account information will be automatically completed after authentication.

Click on “Confirm” to finalize the creation of the connector!



How the Connector Works

  • The connector performs a daily automatic synchronization between 1am and 6am to retrieve the previous day's data.
  • Synchronization is retroactive, allowing historical data to be recovered if necessary.
