How to track a campaign on Snapchat Ads?

Snapchat is a photo and video sharing application from Snap Inc., available on iOS and Android mobile platforms. It was designed and developed by students at Stanford University in California.

For Snapchat Ads campaigns, the tracking URL format used is the Social marketing channel.

Here is the format to use for tracking clicks:

LANDING_PAGE_URL?esc-publisher=snapchat&esc-name=snapchat-{{campaign.id}}&esc-location=snapchat-{{adSet.id}}&esc-creative=snapchat-{{ad.id}}&esc-creativetype=1x1

The following macros are dynamic and will be fed directly from your Meta platform when the user clicks:

{{campaign.id}} = nom de la campagne
{{adSet.id}} = nom du groupe de publicités
{{ad.id}} = nom de la publicité

Important: When you click, Snapchat will replace the macros with identifiers corresponding to the different tracking dimensions.

Snapchat spend connector setup is mandatory to transform identifiers into platform name, campaign name, etc.


Snapchat does not allow the use of impression tracking by a third-party platform.
