AddingWell by Didomi


This documentation explains how to configure and deploy the Eulerian Marketing Platform template on your GTM Server-Side container using your Addingwell account.


Prerequisites

  • Check Mark Button A Google Tag Manager Server-Side (GTM SS) account already configured
  • Check Mark Button An active Addingwell account
  • Check Mark Button Administrator access to GTM and Addingwell
  • Check Mark Button Your Eulerian Marketing Platform data collection domain is provided upon creation of your account


Import the Eulerian Marketing Platform template

    In the Community Templates section, search for Eulerian Marketing Platform .
    Click on Import .
    Check that the template appears in your list of Server-Side Templates .


Tag configuration

    In your GTM SS container, create a new tag .
    Select the Eulerian Marketing Platform template.
    Configure the required settings:
  • targetHost : the data collection domain for your site (e.g., sdf76df.eulerian.io )


Configuring triggers

To ensure that the data is correctly sent to Eulerian, you need to configure appropriate triggers:

Small Blue Diamond Trigger All events

  • Type: Event Name
  • Client is GA4
  • Usefulness: sends a hit on each event

Small Blue Diamond Customizable Transaction (Purchase) Trigger

  • Type: Event Name
  • Client is GA4
  • Condition: event is equal to purchase
  • Purpose: Sends order and product information



Test each trigger in Preview Mode before publishing.For more information on the  GTM Server Side 


Publication & Testing

    Publish the changes to your GTM SS container from Addingwell.
    Use Preview mode to verify that events are being sent to Eulerian (check the network console to confirm).
    Confirm proper operation with your Eulerian contact if necessary.


Best practices

  • Verify that your GTM SS server is correctly connected to your custom domain.
  • Use a staging environment before pushing to production.
